Health
This is where I keep track of my health.
General psychological problems
I have been struggling with generalised anxiety disorder and occasional panic attacks since 2001. Medical treatments are known to be unpleasant triggers. I received treatment for this for some time in 2013, but discontinued it by mutual agreement because it didn't help.
Around 2018, the anxiety moved into my sleep and I started having violent nightmares where I would wake up screaming and covered in sweat.
Since around 2022, I only have nightmares very rarely, but I still often wake up shaking.
General state of health
- Height 172 cm, weight approx. 110 kg, obesity grade 1.
- Hypercholesterolemia with xanthelasma
- latent hypothyroidism (hyperthyroidism)
- Misalignment of the spine with protruding abdomen, hump and hump of the cervical spine. Signs of degeneration of the cervical spine.
- Hypermetropia with occasional tunnel vision to the left.
- Dental misalignment due to 3 remaining wisdom teeth. Receding gums and frequent gingivitis.
- Low blood pressure with tendency to dizziness, weakness in the knees and blackening of the eyes when exposed to high temperatures and exertion.
- Tiredness and weakness even when sleeping a lot. I rarely feel fully awake and only for a maximum of 1-2 hours. Sometimes I fall asleep "like a convulsion".
- I often have a dry mouth and a torn (lower) lip.
Allergies
I am allergic to nickel, which is already clearly visible when I wear nickel-containing buttons or jewellery on my body or when I use nickel-containing guitar or bass strings. Abbey's calendula ointment made my face swell up when I applied it.

The body consists of trillions of cells. They are all tiny living beings in their own right and need to be constantly nourished. In particular, they need oxygen, which is transported to the cells by the blood. Once the necessary nutrients have reached a cell, they are pushed in through the outer wall. This requires the blood to be constantly pressurised. This is called blood pressure. It must be neither too high nor too low.
When a cell needs nutrients, it informs the body via the nervous system. The electrical signal is transmitted to the brain, where it is collected and analysed. When the right moment arrives, a signal is sent to the heart, which ensures that it beats. The blood is then sent with new nutrients to the cells where they are needed. How often and how strongly the heart beats naturally depends on how many nutrients are needed. Greater efforts consume more. In order to regulate this precisely, a central point in the body is needed, namely the brain, which sends the heart the necessary signals that end up in the so-called AV node. Without this signal, the heart would not know that it should pump and would therefore simply do nothing. The cells would then no longer receive any supply and would die.

At last! I have just found out that the stool sample was negative for Helicobacter pylori. This means that the bacterium has finally disappeared completely from my stomach and my gastritis can now finally heal. It will certainly take some time, but this is still good news. The whole thing has now taken 1 Year, 10 Months, 23 Days.

When I woke up today, I already felt quite queasy in my stomach. I really didn't eat much yesterday, but the feeling tells me that my stomach is still very sensitive. I also had a sour taste in my mouth and my circulation is still pretty weak.
It's not quite as bad as before, but I'm definitely still not completely healthy.
